I am having the same issue (Gilgamesh), currently 1,114 in queue lol Never seen it that high. I was going to town on a training dummy when I got the boot, then couldn't connect to data center, and now in the queue.

I have also been getting randomly disconnected recently (the last week or two) notably more than I had been before. I have only been playing since June and getting dced was a rarity since then, but the last few weeks my normally "Excellent" connection ping pongs between "Good/Poor" for some reason.

It's my favorite when I get disconnected from servers in the middle of a solo PotD or HoH attempt :-| I am now dead inside, to mirror what the game considers my in-game status to be.

Same, got kicked tried to log back in got an error. Now able to log in but 1200 in queue

Yep, Coeurl just went down maybe 10 minutes ago too. Been having issues getting massive lag spikes and getting booted for no reason at all in the last couple of weeks (while my net connection is otherwise constantly connected to other things) but this time it looks like it's the whole server or data centre.

There was likely a DDoS attack or similar. The Lodestone kept saying "Higher than normal volume" while it was bouncing up and down. Seems to be better now.

It definitely feels like some sort of attack. Likely targeting the original EW launch... guess they forgot to update their calendars.

That was my thought too. I remember one during Early Access for ShB that I couldn't even reach google because the ones I reach are near the FFXIV servers in California. It lasted about the same amount of time too.

Funny though, after I got on I qued for a roulette and got Shinryu with just a WHM and RDM. We pulled with 3 people and after getting a drk and SMN after the phase transition cleared easily. That WHM was amazing keeping us up and DPSing and we cleared all DPS checks. At the end there were 3 people still disconnected from the duty.

Anyone having an issue with the lobby server. i was on poping my daily msq and got kicked for some reason.

Yes! I got kicked out, server error of lobby. Then when I tried to re-open the game, I kept getting "Character data not found," I was so scared and I thought I got GMd for 15 minutes.

...Then I sat in a 2000+ person queue.
