really? Like wheres the choice? You choose to buy it, if you don't want it, don't buy it. come on now. DOn't worry you will ahve like 1000+ inventory spaces come 2.0. Geez people just want everything handed to em now a days.
You do know, if you don't want it anymore, you can just toss it. Not like seals are tough to get anyways. Ya know!?! Just like get some more.
I wouldn't mind being able to trade certain GC items back once you outgrew them.
Although, another idea would be to make them somehow donatable to hamlet defense missions somehow. Maybe you could donate them before the battle phase to help fortify defense, and for doing so gain a couple seals/anima/top provisioner status...I don't know. Keep in mind, I think Hamlet Defense should reward a couple company seals based on performance too. But that's a different issue.
So yeah, it would be nice for old U/U Guild Company Gears to have some turn-in value.
Remember when I made this thread in January?
I didn't get a single response, like, or comment.
I'm glad to see 3 and a half months later people are more receptive to the idea.
But now that an entire grand company achievement is centered around obtaining 500K seals, this refund would likely be abused by achievement hungry adventurers. Theoretically you could buy back and refund the same piece of gear to increase your seals earned count... An easy solution to this would be making refunded seals not contribute to the achievement, which makes sense considering you already earned them before.
Maybe this time around we will get a rep response.

If I no longer need the item yes I will gladly throw it away.okay forget the bow, you buy the best weapon they have now at the GC, when the level cap is raised and that weapon is useless you are just going to throw away some thing costs
Just as I would convert a Primal weapon when I have no use for it.
About the TV well that's a bit different, because real life money > Virtual money.
Anyway I'm sure SE will bow to the pressure and add more trade ins for GC, but the easier they make seals the more they will increase the price of new items, so its not like you will be gaining anything.

No no no. You don't convert a primal weapon you don't longer need. You throw it away. Because if you convert it, you get something back for it.If I no longer need the item yes I will gladly throw it away.

Whatever, SE should give everybody with more than 10 GC items a GC wardrobe in the Inn room ^^
(we could buy the wardrobe in the grand company for seals.)

thats fine as long as I can trade in my unused gc weapons/gear instead of trashing them

Seriously @a 25% return on the original cost, why do all you people that didn't get/spend seals while leveling care, oh your feeling cheated cause when you got all your jobs 1~50 GC didn't exist. So now you want everyone else to suffer. I understand the rationale now.
