License/Expansion added to the PS5 or SE Site?

I recently plan on buying a PS5 and wanna use my Mogstation license/service account from PC to the PS5 and have a question.

So if you have a license from the SE site (Mogstation) and bought say Endwalker for example, would it give you the license/expansion on your Mogstation account from the PS5 (PlayStation Store) version of the game or do you have to get it from the site itself?

No sadly, a PC license is only for the PC version and that includes expansions, you need to buy the PS4/5 version of the game and then the expansion for that version on the PSN Store as well. Unfortunately FFXI does not have a "one version license unlocks all available versions like FFXI" system.

You can use your existing characters however, as long as you register the PS4/5 version to your existing account with your PC version registered.

So I got a PS5 now, but I tried to log in with my Square Enix account. I bought the game and expansions on PS5 and it keeps saying “No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV”

You need to link your SE account to your PSN account.

How do I do that?

EDIT: I figured how to link the two accounts and it still gave me the error. I went through more articles, reddits, and such then went to the support site here: https://support.na.square-enix.com/f...5382&kid=78848

Where it said: "1. Make sure you have a copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online: Starter Edition or FINAL FANTASY XIV Online: Complete Edition registered to your Service Account. "

So I bought the Starter Edition of FFXIV then logged in and it solved my problem. I was able to link my account to my SE service account and add other expansions.
