Suggestion: A Red Chocobo Mount

I apologize in advance if this is not the right place for this. I am quite new to the Forums and this is my first post. I am not aware if Devs ever look on these forums frequently or if what I am about to say will be received positively. Please go easy on me. With that being said allow me to digress.

Ahem* "A Red Chocobo Mount? Well surely you know you can just dye your Chocobo any color you like." I figure someone would say. However, I am not talking about your Average Chocobo... I'm referring to "The" Red Chocobo, The Firebrand of the Seven Hells - that has cindered and smited many a worthy adventurer in the Bozjan Southern Front.

To keep things brief. I believe there should be a way to tame this beast and claim it's power for yourself! In otherwords, I think it would be a cool mount idear.

My concept is rather simple. A Larger scale to the normal-sized (about Eternal Bonding sized) Chocobo model mount, with no saddle and a mount ability that drops a meteor.

Make this an obtainable mount for being able to survive the Crimson Carnage without anyone in your group dying. Or if not a Mog station mount. I believe it be a nice commemoration to those who lost many lives against this beast. I also don't believe it be hard to implement since it's just a basic Chocobo model.

This is my suggestion I put forward. I hope this isn't an imposition. Let me know what you think, I'd be fond to hear if I'm not the only one who thinks this be a good addition. That is all for now - May you all walk in the light of the crystal.

I’m always for the idea of more mounts. That red chocobo in Bozja strikes fear into many people’s hearts so I believe it deserves a place in the mount list… but it needs to stand out a bit more so it doesn’t look like a standard red chocobo.

Perhaps while it’s flying, it can have mini comets all around it occasionally dropping. Or, when it’s flying it rides a red comet.

draught chocobo is kind of a special red chocobo but a plain one is more accurate

Considering there are now regular red chocobos in the Chocobo Forest in Dravanian Forelands (which SE seemed to have quietly added in a patch).... a red chocobo mount may also be possible I guess (although we already have the Draught Chocobo acquired through the 'Recruit-a-Friend' campaign which is redish with some white on it's feathers).

I haven't fought any there yet though, I'm.... kinda wary about earning their wrath. :P

These were added with the expansion of Blue Mage skills. They are how you get "Choco meteor", which is a pretty staple Blue Mage skill because of how generally powerful it is.

It'd probably get a reaction from some of the non AFKers too. The things I've seen still haunt me. That Red Comet isn't red by default. It is coated in the blood of its victims. As a result it is very, VERY red.
