NPC recognition in Endwalker

I wonder just how many past NPCs will show up in Endwalker. I know all the job NPCs most likely in their respective role quests, but I wonder if any of the antagonists (other than the Ascians) will show up in the MSQ.

I wonder if any of those antagonists found out that they tried to murder the Warrior of Light, the world's foremost killer of gods. Sevestre from the AST chain particularly, who as a Sharlayan, should have known better.

Would be funny if Pandemonium includes basically all the antagonists you've killed. And they're like "Yeah... yeah, that was dumb. My bad."

I'm imagining there might be special NPC interaction for completing all the beast tribes to date, too. And the return of city-state storyline npcs if those storylines are revisited. Like, I can imagine meeting up with the merchant triplets again, or the first NPC you talked to in your citystate. As a Lominsan starter, its a small thing but I'd like to get an update on how Sevrin is doing. I'd like to see Baderon(and the other Adventurers' Guild proprietors) be relevant again, too.

The launch trailer showed plenty of them[both lalas from the SAM and Rogue quests, others from ishgard and the steppe] and Ishikawa reccomended having all classes to 80 for Endwalker during fanfest. Probably cause the job/class mentors will probably recognize you/interact with u etc, compared to just "ah ure the WoL"

I feel like they might show all of the various job trainers and beast tribes helping to fend off the terminus beasts in their respective nations in a big "Everyone is here!" moment some time before the climax, so doing their associated quests would just allow us to recognize them.

Hopefully they'll all have some new dialogue once everything is done and dusted too.

Like Pawah Mujuuk the poacher from the Archer quests (who pretty much disappears after the Archer quest chain ends), or Sevestre (who leads the faction of Sharlayan isolationists) from the AST chain.

I think it's mostly just these two antagonists who are unaccounted for as of now. The angry Duskwight from the Lancer quest chain shows up in PoTD (which means he died), the MNK antagonist from SB gets hunted down by the Corpse Brigade, and Alaqa from the WHM quests becomes your friend in the 80 job quest. Other job/class antagonists are finished off in their respective job/class quests.

Anyone else remember any other job/class quest antagonist that got away or is currently unaccounted for?

It is possible some of these characters will appear in the new role quests.

Considering Sevestres position in Sharlayan id expect we will see him one way or another, he is a member of the Forum after all.
Also wasnt Pawah captured after her defeat?

I have personally not tried to reach out and figure out what EW will be about, who's in it etc, just a desire to let it hit me all at once, and just see what happens. I have hopes Rab becomes the ruler of Ala Mhigo as a plot point. Would make me happy.

I hope Lyse messes something up and disappears forever, and that the story really just takes some needed twists and such. Really looking forward to EW tho. Honestly from what little I've allowed myself to see of it, I'm pleased.

This. I am doing my best to go in without any ideas or expectations of what will happen. Just let it come and get excited about the thing when I see it. Until then, my thoughts on what will happen are deliberately left blank and I'm just excited about the general concept of "new story"/"final chapter" without any thought of what will be in it.
