The main issue with my having to buy items over and over again is that I get into a hurry and without thinking and I end up with the 240 version when I wanted the 270.

Yeah... those aren't really duplicates. People can get the 240 versions for glamour purposes.

I don't intend to make this post anything long winded, but I just need to vent about a personal, repeating error I keep making over and over.

I'm currently trying to get my Red Mage decked out in 270 gear to make finishing Heavensward and the early stages of Stormblood easier. However, I find myself continuously buying the same piece I already have again and again. As there is multiple prompts about buying it, it is only my fault when I pick up the wrong item. Just getting tired of spamming the same three raids repeatedly and then grabbing the wrong stuff off the vendor.

Ah well, just need four more items and I'll be done ... if my mushy, goldfish brain would stop buying the same things again.

Yes, that happened to me a lot of times as well.

And a lot of times I also vented about it too and even offered a solution: have a time period (like an hour or so) to sell back that item and have the tomestones back in case of mistake.

Guess what the response was.
