    Feedback from a raider on Asylum and Sacred Soil

    I think a small QOL if going forward all arenas are going to be this huge I think Asylum should get the Earthly Star same with Sacred Soil make it radius 20yard or 25yard it would not even be game-breaking Sage already has a movable shield in the form of a buff and then people can run in any direction so Soil really should get buff a bit in radius size.

    It doesn’t even have to be 20y (I think AST’s supernova is a silly upgrade but hey, the tried). I’m happy enough if the radius can be bumped up to 12y. At least that looks comfy enough to drop and still catch mechanics such as double healer stacks for both groups.

    For WHM.. My hunch just tells me that they’re still going to think WHM is ‘fine’ and widely picked up many players—thus no adjustment for them at all.

    The blood lily has to be nourished somehow if the tanks don't take damage. *stares at lilybell* If it only charged the blood lily at a 120 second cooldown per hit.

    It baffles me that Earthly Star was the only Healer ground target skill to see such a massive improvement. It makes you wonder why any other AoE healer skill can't be larger. Not just Sacred Soil and Asylum but Succor, Medica, Helios and Prognosis too. Cure 3 has been especially outdated for a long time. Healers have been asking for reduced cast times across the board since Heavensward and we finally got it in Endwalker. It's like Quality of Life for Healers is always the slowest to happen by far.

    Dont forget how long WHM had to beg for PoM becoming a 120s cooldown

    The reasoning behind it, probably, is that of the 4 bubbles (so Asylum, SS, ES and CO) Earthly Star is the least visible. It doesn't look like a bubble til it pops and since we do use it as a heal in content and plan to heal the party with it... well the rest of the party "not being able to see the twinkling lights" and thus making the placement radius 30y speaks for itself.

    Personally I want it cut in half to 15y drop and a 15y heal. 30 is ridiculous. The thing looks more like Astral Stasis than anything else.

    I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

    If Earthly Star Galaxy is going to be as large as it is, Sacred Soil and Asylum also need a buff to their radius. Even if they are more visible, it’s just kind of silly that AST’s passive area heal—and SGE’s—have such high flexibility in terms of their range/mobility where as the other two don’t. Ideally, yeah—people would be grouped together. But if they aren’t—or if there’s a need to spread later—the extra range would be extremely useful and increase the usability of both, in my opinion. Perhaps they don’t need to be 30 yalms, but at least 20 or something if we’re going to keep Star that big.
