Baffling behavior

Hell I just checked your profile, you're level 79 in full augmented Scaeven gear you literally learned nothing.

400 ilvl to 416 ilvl isn't a huge jump and isn't half as important as people are making it out to be, to be honest, you can still easily w2w mt. gulg with it

What I don’t understand is OP said many pages back that he finished the dungeon and it was all fine. He said he isn’t looking for pointers/tips and he’s tanking just fine. Why don’t you guys lay off and find something better to do with your time than continuing to harass this poor guy.

All he did was vent a little frustration like we all do at times. Rather right or wrong, you vets are being so nasty and cruel. Leave this guy alone and let him have fun and learn.

P.S. OP I am so sorry you have been treated this way. These few bad apples aren’t a representation on most of the ffxiv community I assure you. You didn’t ask for peoples tips but they just went in on you. Disgusting. If I were you I’d stop responding because the more you respond the more they will keep going. Just let this thread die. Thing is it's way more important for the lvl 60 to 69 area where your total armor as a tank skyrocket, they nerfed that for shadowbringer and i'm pretty sure that's because of ppl like the op.
If you take the crafted body ilvl 265 HQ item lvl 62 you get 478 armor and magic defense which is roughly the lvl 270 60 blue gear you get with tomestomes.
If you look at the ilvl 285 which is only 20 more ilvl and lvl 68 HQ body you get : 804/804, it's almost the double and that's only 6 level appart from each other.
That was the big problem and why everyone said he was undergeared, armor for tank at this level is needed more than anywhere else, and that's why he got melted with his ilvl 270 gear.
Plus what he said about using CDs after he already got hit and taking full damage, no wonder it was a disaster.
