Baffling behavior

This is getting redundant, but one more time (note that this is all hearsay, but that's all we've ever had):

Tank noted healer was focusing on dps and spoke up asking for heals.

The required ilv would consist of gear past lv 50 at least but likely around 60 and therefore would contain vitality if not more tank centered stats, so even if he was rocking piety instead of strength, his health would be largely unaffected and his armor would be acceptable, too, since he'd be past the point where you would see disciple of war gear that he could use. It would definitely be tank armor.

It doesn't matter how long it took for those two wipes, if they gave up after just two wipes and before the first boss. Whether they spent half an hour shouting at each other, to kick a tank before the first boss and after just two wipes is pretty lame, though I think there is something about the timer being negated after a full wipe. Not sure but it hardly matters.

In any case, I've said my piece. Tank could have been geared better but the healer could have tried harder. Vote kicking should be reserved for trolls and afks. And no, being geared imperfectly is not trolling.

I really don't know why your hill to die on is "They have the item level therefore nothing else matters"

There's no item level required up until Castrum at level 50. That's 12 dungeons with no item level requirement.
Do you condone people going into those dungeons naked because they meet the item level requirement, or lack thereof?

If willfully participating in a team game where you know your personal choices will bring down your teammates isn't trolling I don't know what is.
Even without the trolling a kick is warranted simply due to difference in play style. The healer couldn't, shouldn't, and didn't want to carry OP so they got kicked simple.

That's an awfully restrictive perspective for an MMO and for content that players are required to clear to progress. No, they don't have to play with people they don't want to play with, but it's surely poor manners to censor others who don't meet your standards. And no, queuing for content that allows you to que for it is not considered trolling.

Kicking people below average who intentionally are making things harder than they need to be isn't restrictive at all. They're required to clear it once and OP already has a level 80, there's no excuse.
It's not bad manners at all, actually it's behavior endorsed by SE exclusively to solve player disputes in relation to in-game content that require a party, majority rules.

If it's not trolling to queue up to a level 47 dungeon naked why is it bad manners then to kick said person? I mean if you're allowed to do it simply for the fact that you can do it what's the difference between the two?

And have you ever seen someone que for Aurum Vale naked? I doubt it. Have you ever seen someone doing a lv 69 dungeon in lv 60 gear? Probably if you've played this game very long.

You were almost certainly kicked for having bad gear while blaming the healer for being unable to keep you alive. The gear you're currently wearing on your Lodestone isn't even that great at level 60, much less the 69 dungeon which hits fairly hard.

For comparison, the Outriders Coat has 474 defense. The Xenobian Surcoat, which drops in that dungeon, has 868 defense. The armor from the previous dungeon has 739 defense.

So dont try to say that op was honest about his undergear, he did not.

I wouldn't hang out either if people called me a failure for using the wrong accessories and that I deserved to be kicked. But, to him I say what has been said many times by many skilled players.

You and I both know SE deliberates every action they take so if they allow you to do something obviously it's a justified action including kicking someone without saying anything.

I'm just trying to understand your mindset here, if the only thing that matters is that SE allows it and queuing up for any of the dungeons leading up to Castrum & Praetorium naked isn't trolling, how can it be rude to kick them let alone anyone? I mean SE allows these unjustified kicks to happen.

Yes I have seen people queue for these dungeons naked nothing wrong with that though since SE allows it. SE also allowed us to kick that person.

And yes, SE allows kicking actions and, just as OP says, you can report being kicked for nefarious reasons, too.
