I get it because i'm old school. Back when I started, healers healed, tanks set the pace, and DPS DPSed. We're relics now, though. Here's how the etiquette seems to work these days:
    1. Don't tank unless you're fully geared for your level.
    2. When you tank, grab aggro and keep running, grabbing more mobs as you go. Don't stop until you hit a point where you can't grab any more mobs. At that point you can just chill and spam your AoEs.
    3. Keep mitigation up at all times, rotating cooldowns as needed. Don't expect any healing because your healer is going to be mostly DPSing. If your healer is decent, they'll throw an emergency heal on you if you get too low.

I personally think this sucks, so I don't ever intend to tank in groups. I level my tanking classes exclusively through Squadron Command Missions, FATEs, Beast Tribe dailies, and Trusts. That's just how boomer tanks like us have to roll now.

Dungeons became faceroll friendly which is why wall-to-wall became a 'standard' approach. In other words, this game(in fact, the other game too) became too easy and fast paced.

Sure, we can all adopt, I'm a boomer tank, if there's anything like that exists, as well. I do not think current trend (Wall-to-Wall) isn't too bad. But at least people need to communicate each other in a group, not enforcing what they think all over.

Especially on leveling roulette. People are still leveling, mostly, and some people you get paired with are not as geared top notch for that level nor overlevel that specific instance. You should never push those undergeard(and even learning the specific instance) people into fray.

I believe we should all blame those stupid meme video makers. Sure, they made revenue with stupid memes, healer not dpsing is a loser. But that kind of video being spread is a venom for the community. Aaaaaand.. YouTube is closing down the downvote... /facepalm
