To respond about "healing culture"? This isn't about healing culture, this is a team mate not complying and didnt perform heals. Its nothinf to overthink and complicate. I had some bad teammates, thats all. Im just explaining that i experienced people like this.

You died with in 2 seconds of a pull? Judging based on your character's lodestone profile, I would have to guess that your gear was too low level then. Like I said, you're wearing the gear from the GNB quest, which you should of probably looked into replacing the first chance you could. Even the level 61 dungeon's gear has better stats then it. (Most people would use the Augmented Shire gear, which last them to when better gear comes at level 65).
I would have to say that you were the liability in the situation. A healer can't keep someone who can't take more then one auto-attack, even if they spammed healed them. If you want everyone to be able to perform their job, you need to do yours, which for a tank includes having gear that won't make you a sitting duck.

If you were unable to activate a cooldown in the brief time it took for you to die, then how would the healer be expected to heal in that time as well? Looking at your gear, you seem to be very under-geared and it seems like you might have been able to scoot along before, but now that you're at the level 69 dungeon things got real and now the mobs are able to hit you much harder. The tank shouldn't be taking that much damage that fast from that tiny number of mobs. You may want to update your gear on your GNB and try again.

For example, the body piece you're wearing has 474 defense on it. If you were up-to-date on your gear, your body piece could have 804 defense. That's a 330 defense loss from just 1 piece of equipment. Fully updating everything including your accessories will give you the defense and HP needed to complete the dungeon smoother.

You were almost certainly kicked for having bad gear while blaming the healer for being unable to keep you alive. The gear you're currently wearing on your Lodestone isn't even that great at level 60, much less the 69 dungeon which hits fairly hard.

For comparison, the Outriders Coat has 474 defense. The Xenobian Surcoat, which drops in that dungeon, has 868 defense. The armor from the previous dungeon has 739 defense.

You want to know how much of that response was BS? I completed it with another group, with the same gear.

This is the same excuse that every under-geared tank likes to trot out.

If you are single pulling, or requiring the healer to constantly heal you, you aren't actually tanking. You could be replaced by a DPS. In fact, many properly geared DPS actually have more defense stat than you do at that level.


The only baffling behavior in this thread is the sheer level of arrogance it took for you to not only fail to consider that you were the problem, but to go on to ragepost a thread about it and try to make a public spectacle of it.

Ive done it before with no issues. I wont disagree about my gear. Im not asking for a carry. Im saying that after communicating i needed heals, i never got them. they wished to argue and ended the encounter.

Like look, im going to lose sleep over it as ive completed it with others. I just wanted to share how unreasonable people can be. Though it is rare. Im about to hit 70 today and i have the Ilvl 400 Bought and waiting. Im halfway.

On a side note:

If you die within "2 seconds" as you phrase it then you might wanna upgrade/change your gear. Leveling dungeons hit a lot harder. Looking at your lodestone profil you are still wearing the GNB starter set and some Mnd and Dex on the right side. Mind and Dex are NOT tank stats.

The only baffling behavior here is you going into a level 69 dungeon wearing trash gear, getting mad because the rest of the party rightfully gave you the boot, then coming to the OF to seek pity points from people that don't even know the other side's story. Then you have the gall to attack every point that doesn't agree with you?

If you died in 2 SECONDS on a single pack of 3 mobs, then that is 100% a you problem. Work on your gear my guy o.O if a healer has to precast heals on single pack pulls, you're doing something very wrong, please don't inflict that kind of nightmare on unsuspecting strangers.

i dont even know how you can 'melt' with 3 trashs in any dungeons, you must have a terrible gear or something because there is no way you die to 3 trashs even with 0 heal.
