here's your (you), please go troll somewhere elseUnfortunately the pressure for healers to deal damage can lead to these kinds of things happening, that is why i advocate for removing healer dps in the healer forum.
A lot of players are only used to outgearing content and so they are unprepared for at level content but 3 gcd is plently of time to heal. I know op said 2-3 seconds but people are bad at judging time under pressure. Min ilvl is totally fine for gear. That is the required gear level after all. Wall pulls in ShB can kill in 2 gcds without mitigation yet people still can wall pull so 3 gcd is plenty of time.
It's hard to really blame anyone here since we encourage and normalize healers playing like this. It's just an unfortunate consequence of healer dps.

Oh forums, never change.
OP: Man, I had a short but very bad run as tank. I feel like the healer wasn't even trying.
Forums: You're wrong. Here's a list of why you're wrong, what you did that was wrong, and why you're a terrible tank.
OP: wut?
Forums: You're such a troll.

If you read this entire thread, and that's the conclusion you came to, I have to think there's more than one troll here...Oh forums, never change.

Trolls calling people trolls for saying they're trolls is such a troll thing to do.
How about you just say, "That's rough, man. Your gear probably played a part, but if you say the healer wasn't doing a good job that makes it even worse. Hope you have smoother future runs."
But no, trolls gotta lecture. That's the conclusion I came to. Truly baffling behavior.

Or maybe, they could be like "I know you're frustrated and feel like lashing out at the healer, but you should take responsibility for the part you played in creating that mess and work on yourself if you want smoother runs" But no, that would be expecting people to actually want to get better. And trolls gotta white knight. Truly baffling behavior.

Don't you understand that you're forcing upon him a lesson that he never asked for, and probably doesn't need, in the rudest manner possible?Or maybe, they could be like "I know you're frustrated and feel like lashing out at the healer, but you should take responsibility for the part you played in creating that mess and work on yourself if you want smoother runs" But no, that would be expecting people to actually want to get better. How does the air taste up on that soapbox? Does it taste like justice or is it just smokey and hot? Take responsibility? What, is he a felon? Just stop.

No one is, actually. No one is going over to the OP and chaining him to a screen and forcing him to read these posts, neither is anyone forcing him to participate in a public discussion forum, and further still, no one is forcing him to be understanding of anyone else's stance in this situation.
I'd say you're being too sensitive about the situation, but this is kinda par for the course for you, and you've even replied to yourself, so I guess you're lacking stimulation these days.

"A need to be right" says the person who MUST get the last word in.
Better a bleeding heart that a dry one. Your insult is my compliment.
It's probably pretty necessary for OP.

On the topic of soapboxes, who the hell elected you arbiter of what I can and cannot reply to on this forum? OP came in with a bad take, a discussion was had about why its a bad take, and then you come in for a whinge about his poor feelings and what you should and shouldn't talk discuss on a discussion forum. How about, if you want people to keep their opinions to themselves, you lead by example?

You asked me a question, and I answered it. Naturally, that means I would have to make another post.
But if it makes you feel any better, I guess "it takes one to know one."
Actually, neither are good, particularly when it's just for the sake of being one.Better a bleeding heart that a dry one.
Which is funny, because you were just flying into a tirade over people "forcing" the OP to endure their replies, although they think it's beneficial for them, meanwhile you're "forcing" them to endure yours for quite literally the same reason. It's probably pretty necessary for OP.
