Game crashing on brand new build

Hey everyone first time posting on the official forums. I was a ps4 player for years and finally just built a gaming PC for Endwalker.

    My specs are:
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
    16 GB Ram
    Rog Strix B550-A Gaming motherboard
    Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti GPU
    Windows 10

    Issue:
I can launch the game and get into it okay. The very first time it launched though I froze up during the queue. I reinstalled the game and now I can get into it each time.
However, it seems random when it crashes. It crashed once after 3 hours, then another time after 30 minutes. It doesn't matter what I do because it has crashed while I was idle. Yesterday it lasted 6 hours with no crashing.

I am NOT getting any error messages. The first thing that happens is that I lose audio. Not all audio is lost each time though, 2 of the times all the audio cut out except for the waterfall noise. After the audio cuts I have about 10-20 seconds of movement before my character starts freezing and everything around me freezes until my whole PC is frozen and I have to do a hard reboot. The first time it happened my character froze in a casting stance and I was able to move her in that stance for a few seconds until the boss started disappearing.

I am not very great with PC stuff so I have no idea what to do anymore.

    Things I've tried:
    Reinstalled the game
    Downclocked my GPU
Changed an audio setting where I toggled off the enhancement
Yesterday I changed my power settings on Windows to be on the recommended (balance) one, by default it had been on a Ryzen power mode

I really thought by changing the power settings yesterday it fixed the issue since I was able to play 6 hours before logging out for bed with no crashing.

Today it lasted about 30 minutes again so I thought I'd ask here if anyone has had similar issues.

    Thank you for any help!

Its very hard to do a remote diagnose for an unknown system
The issues can be litteraly anything but do you have issues with other games?
If you have other games that for example use alot of ressources in case of CPU usage, ram usage, graphics ram usage and so on you could try them.
The more ressources the games need the more likely you maybe hit the point where it should crash if its a general issue and not a ff14 only related issue.

Update ur drivers to the newest version.

Even thou the system is new it could got dmged while it was manufactured, shiped or installed.

Test the ram for failure, there are many programms out there also some are shipped with ur system itself maybe, just google for 1.
I once had a friend whos graphics card had a memory failure. Once they played enough they reached the point in the memory that just crashed the whole system (the entire pc frooze and need a reboot)

Do you have any additional hardware / software (driver) installed? audio enhancements sound like a sound card? maybe a malfunction driver there?
Even a headset could cause issues if it has some dmg or falsely installed drivers. (you could try swapping/disabling peripherals to identify the issue in this case)

I personaly use the same g.card (different cpu but AMD Ryzen as well) and it only crashed a single time for me now after a year of almost daily playing.

My experience with such kind of errors: defect RAM, CPU or motherboard. Or a PSU that is too weak. I had this error too. I had tried almost everything. There was one thing that helped: i had RMA'd my PC and got a new one.

    Cheers

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

Apparently the latest nvidia drivers are super bad, try downgrading to an older version
