Sometimes the way I hear people talk from this community makes me wish I was playing WoW. There's way less social restrictions there and even then I don't often find people pushing the limits of what they can say. I'd put this game right between League of legends and Smite with how angry people get over the silliest things sometimes. My advice OP, just play the game and tolerate the people. You can do just fine without getting into any relationship with the denizens of this community.

Why not just play WoW, then? Genuinely, I'm not shooing you off. If you wish for it, why not go for it? It's just a subscription away.

Those players in Eureka and the players killing hunts they didn't spawn are playing the game as intended. If the devs wanted everyone to contribute to spawning, they would make it so that only spawners get the tag. Just like treasure maps.

What is even more fun is to wait til the very final fight and initiate a vote kick right before the pull. You need to be quick but 9/10 it goes through.

Because wow is a terrible game now that I have exhausted all use in playing. Doesn't mean I'd run to them just because I find them nicer. I just instead play neither of these games at all and play the other mmos often overlooked over these giants. I'm sure there's a lot of people who don't want to feel stuck between a nearly 20 year old game on life support and pretty much the same game but for weebs...
