I disagree.
And before you or anybody sits there and calls me Disingenuous, let me tell you that Im not a Streamer or a Paid Actor, and that Ive been playing this game for 5-6 Years; coming in Mid Heavensward, and the only times I have ever had ANY back interactions in this game, is in Current High-End Raiding (Alexander at the Time) the Very Rare Jerkwad that you will run into during a duty, and some of the Trolls or just generally bad people on these Forums.
If I were to combine Every Bad Egg Ive run into, it is still a Drop in the Bucket compared to the Thousands of Nice and Helpful People Ive run into, and have had Outrageously Hilarious Interactions with.
There are Patient people who will help you and guide you through content and even Farms. There are people who arn't as Patient and will say you are wasting their time and will spite Venom and Curse your name. Guess what...both these things happen in Real Life to!
And unless your literally in a Safespace your whole life, there is not a SINGLE person that will Honestly tell you that FFXIV is Perfect; from its game or its Community.
For every good there is Bad.
And That, Is, Normal.

The reality is that we all will have different experiences for various reasons. You can't call it a lie just because you had a different Experience; which can be the result of many different things that You experienced.
My Experience my Whole FFXIV Career has been 95% Positive, while barley 5% has been terrible.
I think this game has an INCREDIBLE community. And I love that many streamers & youtubers especially coming from WoW get to Experience the Fun this game has to offer and what it allows to Create that Fun.

Its hard to get in trouble or get into fights...if you arn't looking for it.
But hey, such is life you'll run into a jerk. Move on, there are great People out there.
Just like IRL.

^^ This is how I feel. There are millions of subscribers to this game I would be surprised if a person never had a problem at one time or other with another person. On the other hand, 95% of my time since seriously starting has been positive and the rest of the negative has been mostly on this forum. Someone reported me for typing two letters that can be taken for a abbreviation for a swear but I was actually replying to someone whose name was those two letters. I got a two week suspension because I used someone's characters first name. The game is fine these forums have become foul.
