I love how you proved the poster post wrong and they didn't even apologize for the straight up lie to make the OP look like a bad person, instead saying stuff like;
"just act maturely and you won't have a problem" or earlier, "It's okay to be frustrated it's not okay to turn Timmy OP into a punching bag. The rules are fine, just don't turn your fellow players into punching bags." "Controling one's self is a learned behavior otherwise emotionally people would all act like two year olds having tantrums. You are being asked by the rules to act maturely."

that's what the gist of the discussion was, too, and yet it was removed completely, no one got insulted or anything, which is why it's so odd that it got deleted in the first place

You obviously have a problem with my post I wasn't lying and the post was edited. What I said is true you don't need to turn people into a punching bag to make a point. If that is too graphic for you the what do you think the original post is about? Is it okay for the OP to want to be able to express themselves including being angry at someone in game bit it's not okay to tell the OP you shouldn't treat people that way. You can disagree with me and try and deflect any bad feelings onto me you want. But I will remind you I didn't start this topic if you don't want to read others opinions maybe get off the forums.

The original post got edited in the OP they wanted to have license to verbally abuse other people and claimed it was the rules that caused the problem. The whole OP has been edited so we are now left with where the conversation has gone. It's now a rambling mess.

nowhere in OP was any of this mentioned and yet that's what your post very clearly implies, that the OP wanted a license to insult people and that they edited the post later to hide that fact, which is, guess what, a lie you straight up made up

There is room in between using harsh language and being passive aggressive. The problem seems to come from both extremes, whereas I suspect many in the community can be comfortable not doing either.

But if people want to continue to frame it as only those two extremes with no other choice, then I have yet to be convinced to think that passive aggressive is not more tolerable than outright toxicity for the reason I've stated earlier in the thread.

Absolutely not true I didn't lie about anything. What reason would I have to lie? There were many people who were discussing this please point out what I lied about? The post got edited I was not the only one who commented on it. The OP wanted to settle thing by being able to fight and argue? Why? Where exactly is the lie?
