Can Square stop housing demo for a bit due to Canada's flooding?

In case Square-Enix devs (or others) aren't aware, parts of British Columbia at the moment are in a State of Emergency due to severe flooding, putting some entire towns underwater and having numerous areas completely cut off from each other due to washed out highways.

I know several people personally who play from the province, and I'm sure there's hundreds of others who do as well, and it would be great if Square could put a housing demo stop up while things get back under control. Just one less thing people in a disastrous situation have to worry about. Hope this can get some traction and seen!

Seconded, especially this close to Endwalker there's no harm in putting a delay on the timer until launch.

Registered for the forums just to updoot and comment on this. A lot of people just lost their homes up in Canada, it would be a really nice gesture if they didn't have to worry about in game stuff too while they're trying to figure out how to land on their feet.

It's a small way to show compassion and understanding to people in crisis.

While I'm sympathetic to the situation and hope nothing but well wishes to anyone in affected areas, however Square Enix and the development team would have to stop the timer all the time since there is always something going on around the world.

I have to agree with Sotaris.
If Square paused things for a national disaster, they'll never get much pushed out because there's always a disaster going on somewhere.

Umm, a forum hosted and monitored by Square Enix. Is this not one of the ways to communicate with the company? Did you expect people to call them up or something?
