[dev 1009] Volume adjustment window broken

So-so, I have all sound /music on zero and I continue to hear the wind. It's annyong when you talk with others in ventrilo/skype/others.

It was posted before, but in case you overlooked it: If you're using Windows 7 or Vista, you can turn off the sounds completely. Just click on the sound icon in your system tray, then click on "Mixer" and you'll get a list of all currently running applications with sound output. Drag XIV all the way down and the game will be dead silent.

This is one of the features I like about Vista and 7 is independent volume sliders for the applications.

I'm also glad that SE has acknowledged this. UI improvements such as this will assist the game in the long-run (or at minimum, for future audio).

However, that doesn't help anyone who is playing in fullscreen, since you cant access the volume mixer without closing the game down. (No one should be in fullscreen anyways, but ya know...)

Is it me or did they remove the "crafting" sound? I mean, before when I muted everything ingame I still could hear the tinkering, but now its gone? or am I going crazy
