Finding a FC

Hi,

I am a new player and I am wanting to find a FC. Is there a place or a way I can post somewhere to have people contact me such as an in-game general chat or forum?

I have seen the community finder but it seems very limited.

The community finder does allow you to post in one that interests you so that someone from the FC can get back to you, but it requires you to login.

There is a forum where you could ask but it's not as popular as the general forum is https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/796-Tonberry

You can try going to a popular location like Limsa Lominsa and /shout asking for one. You can also click someone in front of you, look at their FC details and click the apply button if it interests you. You can try asking in the novice network (you can ask someone with a crown to invite you to it), or look at party finder or the fellowship finder for free company advertisements. You can also advertise in these locations that you are looking for one yourself.
