Yeah. They're also not back to back. I think typically 2 other skills between each positional (not logged in right now to confirm) - so I just "dance around into position" between them and it's already become instinct for me to line it up right.

I'm probably in the minority but I like maintenance buffs and debuffs. I don't see them as interrupting the flow so much as having to figure out how to use them so the rest of the kit flows around them which makes it more satisfying when done well. If you don't know what you're doing or forget about it then yeah it's gonna feel bad. Have to make sure it's up and will last long enough for burst windows then reapply outside those windows, getting the timing down (which isn't difficult at all it's just something to be aware of) makes it fun imo plus it breaks up the monotonous 1-2-3 combo 'cause that's all you'd be doing otherwise.Only two issues I have are Death's Design and positionals. I hate maintenance buffs where we have to stop the flow of gameplay to reapply it, there was a reason why they got rid of Heavy Thrust on Dragoon after all. Maintenance buffs are bad design, the only job that does them well is Samurai because it's baked in to their base rotation and as long as you're doing rotation correctly your buffs will always be up.
Nothing wrong with niche abilities, not every single button needs to have a fixed place in your rotation. It's something to do when you can't attack anything. I love these kind of things, FFXIV could use more. I do think the damaging portion would be better as an ogcd though.I feel l ike Harvest Moon, keep it as is or change it doesn't matter. Needs to be better incorporated into the job.
My only issue with RPR is that I love it so much I don't want to level any other job now. Communio has to be the most satisfying button to push, right? Like I've died to mechanics because I stop to watch the animation. So good.

Delaying to finish Shroud to pop another Shroud for 2 Communio's back to back is the most hype shit I swear.
A big problem with Reaper is that it's too good and the other classes are just shit because of it.
Reaper is YEAH BOI.
Other classes even Summoner is SO ZETTA SLOW.
I absolutely HATE scythes fold when sheathed. It annoys the crap out of me. Even the edna scythe from the mogstation FOLDS when it doesnt FOR EVERY OTHER CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the worst design choice ever. Why name it reaper if your scythes look like stupid axes on your back
I concur!!! No foldable scythesI absolutely HATE scythes fold when sheathed. It annoys the crap out of me. I don't get the folding hate...
You expect to run around with a giant blade swinging around above your head?
A big problem with reaper is that it gets really hype at 80, then it gets even more hype as you get closer to 90.
Then you roulette into a sub-70 dungeon and can only do your 1-2-3 with some Blood Stalk here and there.
Then again, this ain't the only job with that issue.

True, I had planned on trying for Necromancer as RPR...A big problem with reaper is that it gets really hype at 80, then it gets even more hype as you get closer to 90.

Not so much anymore ...
I think the only downside im facing right now with Reaper is the scythes designs, all are just so straight and the Blade looks so small in many of them, i would love if they made more designs like the Demon slicer/Deepgold War Scythe model (the base Scythe model you get) with the pole and Big Blade curve.
