Isn't the starter one the same model as the level 80 relic one? The level 80 relic one can be dyed after reaching a certain point in endwalker.

80? least the level 90 is a different scythe when i checked.

Yes 80, You can go get level 80 relic gear from the same guy you get all the other classes' level 80 relic gear. I'm pretty sure it is just a level 80 version of the starter gear you are given, except it becomes dyable at a certain story point.
