Like we all told you in your own thread, beyond not needed.I hope the devs bring down the combo spread with so many combos to maintain and position requirements added on top of that. Maybe they could remove the positional requirements or perhaps merge the some of the combos into one key press like the solo instance we have.
It’ll be a long time before I’m lv90 on a job I don’t intend to main, but look forward to the full analysis, just wish it was so bare bone for a large portion of the content. Guess that’s the evil of these late as hell jobs in expansions, wonder how bad the lv80 jobs will be

They will in the future, having to focus so much attention on the skills hot bar and not watching the action is overwhelming. When using AOE cone attacks forces you to stop your rotation and move in position just to hit all targets. I think removing the positional requirements would welcome even more people to the class.
No they won't. No they don't. And as I told you in your thread, if *you* need to stop your rotation to position, that's a you problem. It has nothing to do with the class. They will in the future, having to focus so much attention on the skills hot bar and not watching the action is overwhelming. When using AOE cone attacks forces you to stop your rotation and move in position just to hit all targets. I think removing the positional requirements would welcome even more people to the class.

Please stop. They will in the future, having to focus so much attention on the skills hot bar and not watching the action is overwhelming. I agree with getting rid of positionals and SE continuing to dial back on them is a good sign. They will in the future, having to focus so much attention on the skills hot bar and not watching the action is overwhelming. When using AOE cone attacks forces you to stop your rotation and move in position just to hit all targets. I think removing the positional requirements would welcome even more people to the class.
I genuinely thought this would be the expansion where they *finally* got rid of them. Hopefully next expansion.

It's almost like the game has 2.5s GCD exactly for that..? Reaper needs "streamlining" the least of all, you even have full control when to proc your positionals unlike every single other melee class.
Honestly between that and stuff like "Dark Knight delirium needs to be even simpler!" I'm not sure if you are a troll or not.

I'll be a BLM player til I die but I really enjoyed leveling Reaper to do the melee DPS role quests with and am sure to at least take it for a spin through occasional EXDRs and such. It's a very fun and well-designed job, and it's interesting to see how varied the experience can be given that there isn't a single randomized element anywhere in the kit.

I like RPR because it starts at level 70 and is the fastest way for me to get the Melee DPS Role Questline done.
The menacing aura of every Lalafell.
I planned to stick with Red Mage this expansion but Reaper is so much fun and does so much more damage. I'm normally not a fan of melees. Although I did like Samurai due to it being simple.
