i don't really see the problem with soul reaver stacks, just combo Gluttony and Blood stalk with Gibbet and Gallows like the oGCD-GCD combo they are and that's it.

It doesn't read like they should disappear on using any ability, it'd be nice if that at least was more clear. I've run into a few situations while leveling where I kill one mob and have to use the Reaver stack before debuffing the next mob if it's too far to pull in advance. Feels kinda bad but it's also a rather niche situation that doesn't matter a great deal.

Toolkits while usefull in the most part they are times they don't told you everything or are not very accurate, thats why a dumy and some experimentation always go hand to hand with read them to fully understand whats going on, yeah having that mention on then would be nice like many other stuff in several skills across the jobs buuuut we all know how is SE with that.

Now that I'm 80 on RPR, the job has really grown on me. I like the flow, love the mobility, and I'm a big fan of having a phase that speeds up/alter your rotation a la MCH. Very excited for Enshroud at 90 with all the button action.

As a side note, if you want to test it you can go to the PvP area and test it on a dummy.
All of the Enshroud skills are there.

With Death Design I usually do 1 for mobs and 2 for bosses.

Basically if you know it won't last 30 seconds don't waste a GCD on reapplying unless you want a safety cushion.

Overall the job is satisfying and scratches that Dark Knight itch I've always had.

The job quests for Reaper I felt were ok. I'm rather disappointed they didn't have more development on the big bad you fight. Was it bad? No. But it could have been better. I did appreciate how vampiric it was so that was cool. And you got some good lines to choose.

The story is quite forgettable.

I thought it was one of the best stories, especially considering they had to deliver it within 10 levels. It was very straight-forward, but not in a bad way, and I enjoyed the brief but ferocious character development. There was even a quest named Dark Days... It's fate!

I saw one other dps the entire first day that wasn't Reaper, one.
And it's more or less the same still.

Edit: Getting synced on Reaper is kinda bad tbh, I got Garuda in leveling roulette and got synced to lvl 46.

Just damage debuff + 1 2 3 combo?

Perhaps a bit too empty at lvl 46?

I agree. I think around level 78 is when it gets actually fun. Just made it to 80 today, dreading going on leveling roulette and losing skills though.

Oh and to the people above mentioning DRK refuges, they're right! RPR even came with a few skills named for FFXI DRK scythe ones. It was meant to be.
