I had this exact same problem, but I was solo in PotD.The exact same thing happened to me today. Several people in my FC were experiencing massive lag and disconnects and it started while I was in Sastasha leveling my Bard. I felt terrible, kept apologizing and told them to kick me if it happens again but they were like 'nah, you're good' and basically carried me through the whole dungeon as I kept losing connection with the server. Everytime I thought the problem was fixed, it would kick up again. Thank you kind internet strangers and sorry again for whatever that madness was.
I wish I had had cool team mates at my back. Glad to hear people had you when things outside your control were rough.

Got sephirot EX in mentor roulette. We had a bunch of mentors and legends so I was like "We're all gamers here, let's do it." It was an easy one-shot, even skipped mechanics in the first phase. That was nice.
I was in Lab. of the Ancients the other day and the last boss was about to do his 2nd party wipe ability and all of us but a single Gunbreaker ran to the pads. That ballsy player took him down on his own in one of the most clutch plays I've ever seen in the game. Everyone was amazed and gave the guy a ton of compliments. I'm pretty sure he got all the comms from his party too.

This thread needs bumping!
I was doing a bunch of endgame Heavensward dungeons today to clear my journal. In the Arboretum there were two newbies - me and the tank. Tank was pretty vocal about not knowing what was going on, I was quieter since I've moved party chat away from general in preparation of Endwalker spoilers. Last boss, the big platform-wide AoE is telegraphed, and I as an SMN do my thing and jump to the edge following another player (who I assumed was going to the edge too).
I... got swept off! And it was just me, too!
I covered my face in my hands IRL and said sorry - like, I was so confident that this is what I'd had to do. Next AoE the tank cascades down with me too. I check player chat and they'd gone "uh". The DD seemed amused and said we'd had to run to the middle.
It was light hearted, and I confessed I was embarrassed for my mistake. I didn't feel too bad though, the others seemed quite positive and nice about it.
I once got a party in expert roulette where every player knew how to play their jobs and we finished in like 10 minutes and skipped many mechanics on the bosses.
It was magical.
Me and some random groupies that needed a shot with the generic warrior after MSQ roulette.
