Grand Company Gear for Glamour

If I'm posting in the wrong spot, I'm sorry - I couldn't find where else this could potentially go.

My question is this:
Say, I'm in Twin Adder and I grab the laurel head piece from the huntsmaster person for a glamour. I put it in my glamour dresser, set it to a plate, all's fine'n'dandy. Then I move to Maelstrom. Will I still be able to use that glamour plate?

Nope, the GC-specific pieces only work while you are in that GC, even for glamour purposes.

Nope, you can only use GC glamour and bardings while you belong to that grand company

It's a crying shame. They should really change that up. Sure, it makes sense to have to be aligned with a given GC to buy the gear in the first place, but once it's ours we should be able to just use it. :/ Ah well lol

It would be nice yes. But at the same time those gear pieces are basically supposed to be like a uniform of sorts. So something like wearing Twin Adder gear when your GC is Maelstrom would be like working at Burger King while wearing a Mc Donalds uniform.

I just want a better DPS headpiece from the Twin Adders. Mage and tank both get the cool tree branch circlet/helm design and DPS gets a weird ninja mask thing instead.

Also, tank greaves that match the gauntlets with the tree bark effect.
