    Constructive feedback on Dark Knight

    Hi!
    I am going to put my feedback for my favorite class simple and straight forward. I gave these thoughts a lot of time and I'm hoping for some feedback.

    Abilities: ​
    - The duration of "DarkSide" has a timer, how about making it stack up to a certain number ( ex: 300 seconds ) and when at 300 seconds you can use an ability ( which should replace "Living Shadow", ex: "Dark Form" ) giving you flat out increased potencies. This makes the replacement for living shadow more user friendly, tied to your resources and interactive.
    - For delirium you could just go into a 5 hit combo, like Paladin will seem to have in EW. People love those as long as you are using different skills, looks good and feels to have impact. If used under "Dark Form" it could have additional effects for each skill perhaps.
    - TBN could be made so that when its broken, gives you a free Flood/Edge of Shadow + a combo ability ( ex: Flood of Shadow -> Shadowbringer ) this will make it a DPS gain.
    -Another idea would be instead of breaking TBN to give you a combo ability, it could be made in stacks of 3 like Samurai's Shoha. Each broken TBN gives 1 stack of "Dark Arts". At 3 stacks of Dark Arts you can go into "Dark Form" ( or perhaps every use of Flood/Edge of Shadow? ).

    -Passives:
    Adding passives to complement the "Dark Form" I listed would make each passive acquired feel unique.
    ​Ex: Instead of Enhanced Unmend -> While in "Dark Form" you heal for 200 potency every 3 seconds. If "Dark Form" lasts for 18 seconds it should be 1200 potency total.
    ​Ex: Instead of Upgrades to potency of "Living Shadow" -> While in "Dark Form" Living Dead gets upgraded to have a Walking Dead duration of 14 seconds.
    ​Ex: Instead of another upgrade to "Living Shadow" -> While in "Dark Form" , "Carve&Spit" and "Abyssal Drain" get enhanced slightly. ( more potency / different animations / new effects )
    Ex: When in Dark Form you gain 10% dmg reduction and 10% more dmg dealt.

    Main point: I honestly think a Dark Form instead of Living Shadow is the best way for this class to evolve into. A 5 hit special combo would feel like a Paladin copy, spamming the same ability would be a Warrior copy, but a Dark Form in which you get different abilities ( like a different 1-2-3 combo ending with Scourge and upgrades C&S, Abyssal Drain , Blood spiller etc) which is tied to your Edge/Flood of shadow and TBN, therefore MP is the most unique thing.

    Is Dark Form on a timer? Can you extend the timer? More info needed here to really understand what you actually intent to do with this.

    Considering Delirium is going to 3 hits, you could change it so that, if you use Bloodspiller/Quietus when Delirium is active, then add additional combo hits. Just a different suggestion to make it more engaging, considering Warrior gets a new attacks that is activated.

    Never, EVER make using a defensive cooldown give yourself a DPS gain. That is just doomed to fail as people will use it for the DPS advantage and not the defensive capabilities, potentially even going so far as to not upgrading gear to have it break, assuming it gives more overall damage compared to upgrading gear. The exception here is Vengeance, however, the DPS gain is minimal at best and easily lost in the RNG of the job.

    I meant for Dark Form to be exactly based on the current Living Shadow, same design, to the left of DarkSide timer, marked with red. And you can't extend its duration. It just makes the concept of Living Shadow into something more interactive, further building on Delirium, and perhaps making C&S, Abyssal Drain better.

    I guess your right, the Dark Form should not give defense, but rather just flat out offense, the Living Dead upgrade would be a good thing during the form.

    Here is my 2 cents for DRK changes I feel would fix most of the glaring issues with the class. these are listed in order of most to least important:

    1) Blood Weapon is super annoying because of the tight timing window. Just make it 5 charges instead of the 10 second timer.
    2) It is really dumb that TBN is tied to your damage. I like the idea that TBN should have a reward for proper use, but that reward should not be offensive in nature. I would make TBN have 0 mana cost, a 25 second CD, and last 8 seconds. If it is absorbed completely, it should grant a 250 potency HoT for 12 seconds. this will bring it in line with other similar tank cooldowns (Holy Shelltron, etc.)
    3) Unmend, Unleash, and Stalwart Soul need to be changed from spells into weapon skills. The fact that they are spells means they are unaffected by skill speed, which is really dumb. This also adds to the issues with Blood Weapon's timing if you like to use Unmend in your opener for pulls.
    4) While I would love to see Living Dead completely reworked, this is not likely. Instead I would leave it as is, except add 50-100% lifesteal to all weaponskills made while Walking Dead is active. This will greatly reduce the burden on healers, and result in a simpler and more effective Cooldown. If this seems too powerful, just increase the CD on it to balance it out.

    While there are some other changes I'd love to see with Endwalker, the 4 listed above would result in a class that I would greatly enjoy playing. As it is, I'll play PLD instead.
