I used to work with framing as well, a few years back. I know the feeling. Here you go, a whole wall full of frame samples. How about a brown frame to that? *I pick a sample off the wall and show her* No? Any you fancy? *customer picks one* Aaaaah yes, that one. *holds it close to picture* yes yes, the colours match. Oh? You want to try that one? Sure. *picks off wall* No? *customer keeps choosing other frames* That one? ok, sure. No? That one? etc etc etc for half an hour (not kidding). And THEN FINALLY, She decides she'll have the one I picked out for her the very first.

I just smiled, and noted the order. Have a good day...

I've never had to deal with this scenario, but I worked in a Deli and the entitled upper-middle-class women liked to take the more fresh stuff from the back of the shelf. Some of those containers are sharp >.< It's annoying that I have to cut myself to make sure we rotate the fresh stuff, but worse when that's taken for granted.
