    How long have the Lambs of Dalamud existed?

    Did they only crop up in the leadup to the Calamity or have they existed for longer? Relatedly, what is exactly is it that their overall goal? They tend to summon voidsent whenever they show up but I don't understand how that relates to worshiping Dalamud.

    I don't know if they even existed pre-A Realm Reborn. Would need a Legacy player to confirm.

    In regards to the voidsent... well, voidsent are effectively demons, and demons are well-known for lying and twisting things to their advantage. It's a doomsday cult, easy to infiltrate and take advantage of.

    Yes there were a few quests involving them.
    One actually I'll never forget is with the NPC Foxe who is now presumed dead, who sacrificed his wife after he sent you out to look for her but it ended up being an ambush for more sacrifices to Dalamud.

    Yes, they existed suddenly because they were not in the base game, but are an element added by Yoshi after he took over in order to speed up Dalamud falling (which was initially planned for far later) and spark the 2.0 rebuild.

    The Lambs appeared in between 1.18 and 1.23, during the "Seventh Umbral Rising" story arc. The current lore is that they're a doomsday cult that formed in the chaos of people being unable to cope with what the prophecies of the end of the world combined with the change in Dalamud's color.
