For those that give DPS comms after a run... What is your criteria?

I'm wondering since sometimes I get comms as DPS even in runs where I felt that the Tank and Healer went above and beyond. Which is weird as I don't feel that I did anything to stand out in those occurrences. I just hit things really hard until they were dead and I stayed out of AoEs when I'm DPS.

So what is your criteria for you to decide to give Comms to a DPS over the Tank/Healer which usually are the default choices?

Well if he's good at his job, meanning he do dps.
I almost never give healer a comm, being a heal bot like 90 % of the guys playing like this in roulette does not deserve any comm from me.
It's most of the time the melee dps that gets mine since it's easy to know if they're doing things right or not.

Believe it or not, sometimes a DPS can really pull their weight and even save the Party.
Ive watched a Tank and Healer go down during a Pack Pull and the Dragoon took on the Tanking and survived it like a Hero, using all his CDs available to sustain while I tried to thin the heard until the Tank and Healer Ran back after Releasing to the Start.
Darn right that DPS earned all of our Commendations.

But sometimes I do it for Weekly Challenge Log so I just give it to somebody random.
Or if the DPS is the only one there when I get out of the cutscene (Cause I cant be bothered to disable the cutscenes Ive already seen)

I give DPS comms if the Healer or Co Tank already left and I remember to click on the Player Commendation button to give somebody something.

Funny name, cool glam, seemed to know what they were doing (stuff died fast), or the tank/healer annoyed me.

Or I'm queued with two friends and the dps is the outlier

If they use their toolkit, as with all roles.
That means using partybuffs on cooldown and not just on bosses, using selfheal when they ate something, dodged an aoe heal or are in danger of dying, Peloton between pulls and Samba/ Tactician/ Troubadour during big pulls or partywides on phys ranged, aoeing in big pulls and keeping self buffs up if applicable, ressing on RDM/ SMN if necessary. I don't expect stellar dps and perfect uptime, I just want to see someone trying to utilize buttons that are not straightforward 1-2-3 dps skills.
I'm not a fan of "comm your tank/ healer" rule because of some nonsense reason like "they have sooo much responsibility, show them love ♥". I comm someone that uses their toolkit. Spamming Medica II, forgetting mitigation or doing single target in big pulls isn't using the toolkit.
All roles have an equal chance to get a comm from me, no brownie points just for chosing a specific role.

I rarely give comms to the healer because they usually get it without even trying. I've played all 3 healing jobs to 80 and honestly its the easiest way to get comms... I recently levelled a Pally all the way to 80 and I barely got any - tanking is often an underestimated job.

Now? I either give comms to either the tank or DPS, depending who I thought really made a difference.

Square Enix have extorted money from Viera and Hrothgar's limitations, but from the outside looking in it seems barely any of that money is invested back into the limited races. How much money have they made from players
fantasia'ing to and from the limited races? We want more race-exclusive hair.
We want them improved, and we want it done within a reasonable time.
