Does it though? If we assume Saint's still tied to harvest then that would tie to fall and there is not fall in january.
So if we go with that, both is time sensitive?
Because SE is a Japanese company. And New Years is a very important part of Japanese culture. Where as christmas in Japan is little more than a comercial import from the west.
Thus it stands to reason they would prioritize the in game event based on the former over that based on the later.
EDIT: mixed up what events you were talkign about. Still the same point applies to halloween as for Christmas
Yeah, but the harvest connection isn't really reflected at all by the name. Saints' wake would fit a winter setting just as much a fall setting, or really any arbitrary day of the year you want to have a wake for whatever saints. Heavensturn has a clearer association to a new year, so even more specific time of the year than a season.
Alright, that's a good point I suppose.Because SE is a Japanese company. And New Years is a very important part of Japanese culture. Where as christmas in Japan is little more than a comercial import from the west.
Thus it stands to reason they would prioritize the in game event based on the former over that based on the later.

As someone from the west where neither of the three has a great importanance other than we associate them to fall, christmas and new years I think all is equally important in terms on when they happen.
So it wasn't a dig on anything other than wanted clearification why one is more time senstive over another.
At this point they should just cancel All saints wake event and make they Starlight event one better.
