What time investment?

Do you think I should be guaranteed my plot of choice because I've been playing since 1.0s beta test?

Or is clicking twice on a placard a time investment, instead of sitting there for hours?

What time investment? You mean the days you spent acquiring gill, waiting and searching for a plot, and now the days you'll spend waiting for the plot winner announcement?

Yes, the longer you spend in the system, actively pursuing a plot, should be weighted, or compensated, for priority. Else, your time investment is criminally devalued.

I got gil by playing the game. Never needed to go out of my way to earn any, and I'm sitting on 116 mil.

Never went out of my way to earn gil in game either or dedicated any extended amount of time in game acquiring my first home and moving it to shirogane later when the area opened. I just play and enjoy the game and the gil accumulates on its own. I've even blown a fair amount on the MB leveling my crafting and gathering jobs the lazy way by just buying stuff normally in HQ quality only to hand it off to the GC NPC for the daily supply quests.

To me if they're treating the time you play this game as some kind of investment that they expect some kind of compensation or payoff from it sounds like they aren't actually enjoying the game. Or are they just upset this lottery doesn't tilt odds in favor of the people that sit around in perpetual AFK mode 24/7 running a bot or script to click the placard 20 times per second?
