What are you going to be doing during the initial planned launch window for Endwalker

I'll just be playing as normal, since I'm barely toe-deep into Stormblood and really taking my sweet time casually leveling two characters simultaneously like a weirdo. It'll be a WHILE before I'm anywhere near Endwalker, but I'm having a blast anyway!

Lucky for me the delay means I will be done with all my exams and starting my new modules around that time, so I will actually have the time to play all day yippee. I think I might level sage first to do msq as that, I really am not sure I am so paralysed by the choices I have. Part of me wants to go ham in the crafting to make money but at this point I have my large house and nearing 100mill so what am I gonna do with more gil? I have no interest in the gil sink mounts, hideous things. Unwinding with msq and going full rp mode sounds most relaxing to me. I am gonna be so torn between leveling all the jobs I wanna play and msq xD Super excited!

I was planning on taking all of thanksgiving week of for it before the delay!! I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T. I ended up just taking the 19th off for it, but that's okay because I used that day off to make a DMV appointment lol. Turned out okay in the end for me. I have Dec 3rd and 6th off for a family's wedding, so I might get to play a little bit when it launches at least.

I cancelled my time off and took a couple of days for the new release date. So I'll generally just be working and playing other games I guess. Maybe I'll finally finish the last set of floors on the BOTW trial of the sword DLC. Finally finish Bloodstained. Spend more time working on my upcoming D&D campaign.

I didn't even try to cancel the time off days that I actually got for the 19th and the 20th, but my boss finally gave me the 3rd off as well (but not the 4th). That's actually more than I expected to get in December, so I'm grateful for even the one day that I got.

Thus, barring any unforeseen disruptions, it looks like Endwalker will be the third consecutive FFXIV expansion launch that I'll be able to experience day 1 of early access. Time will tell if it will be closer to Stormblood's experience or Shadowbringers's.

I think I'll just continue playing as I do, no real "goal". I'll probably be working on my alt and getting through Shadowbringers before I take a real dive into it

I still need to do that moogle tome event, to get that jacket (just to have it). I'll probably get to it at some point. As far as games are concerned, I've been playing Neverwinter Nights EE, and may or may not move onto the second if I still have time. Otherwise, maybe BG1 instead. I'd like to play BG3, but that thing is still in early access. Endwalker wasn't the only thing I was anticipating that got delayed that was supposed to come out around this time of the year, but at least it's still coming out relatively soon.
