Steps:
1. Set up brand new PS5 for the first time
2. Downloaded the PS4 Backwards Compatible version of FFXIV
3. Downloaded my character data from the servers using the Backup Tool
4. After seeing that my HUD was not displaying properly, downloaded the native PS5 version of FFXIV and downloaded my character data in the same manner. Problem still persisted.
5. Deleted character data and uploaded it locally through a USB drive
6. Tried to adjust screen resolution from the in-game system configuration menu, but none of the options produced any visible changes.
7. Deleted both the backwards compatible version and the native PS5 version of the game and redownloaded the PS5 version
8. Reset PS5 to factory settings, redownloaded PS5 version
9. Hooked PS5 to 6 different TVs. All of them had the same issue. Adjusted the picture settings on each TV (turning off overscan, changing the aspect ratio, etc.). HUD still would not display properly
10. Reinstalled PS5 system software, redownloaded PS5 version
11. Updated PS5 system software
12. Rebuilt PS5 database
13. Switched HDMI cables
14. Contacted Playstation Support and Final Fantasy XIV Support Center
