    Blue Mage: How to learn Aetherial Mimicry?

    So I've spent 2 whole evenings and probably around 60-70 boss attempts to learn this spell.

    To my understanding the spell is casted by the Corrruption adds and I haven't done the mechanic correctly (meaning I don't pull the tethers to the bird or spiders) since I seem to only see the spell casted on me when I don't untether it.


    Do I have terrible RNG or might I be doing something wrong?

    Just kill the corruption when it's targetable, other than that you might just have poor luck. Happened to me with Sharpened Knife and that took something like 8 runs doing it solo.

    Are you lvling syncing? doing stuff unsynced drastically decreases the learn rate for dungeon and trial spells

    I feel the essentially 100% learn rate synced is just a reward for doing it the "hard" way. Otherwise the learn rate seems to be the same as the overworld spells where its random and somewhat influenced by the spell's rarity rating.

    I've done it several times w/. friends unsync'd.

    We just blitz to the first boss and have the corruption make spiders then kill the spider-copies as they pop. Since you can make the fight last as long as you need (ignoring the boss) you should have ample adds to work with.
