Suggestion: A button to extract materia from all gear

Basically just something like the repair all button. It's tedious to go through all your gear and extracting every piece of materia one by one.

Yes please, would love this. Before removing materia meant losing your gear, but as it doesn't do that anymore, there is no reason to make it so annoying.

Disaster in the making, unless there was an "Are you sure?" for every single piece of materia.

Nothing says Doom, Disaster, and Despair like removing the materia from the gear piece you did NOT realize you were wearing.

Extract, not retrieve. Retrieve is where you take your materia out of a piece of gear. Extract is where you create a piece of materia from your spiritbond.

We've been trained to ignore the "are you sure" and just press yes twice when we press something.
Thus this button would be just a nice way to occasionally make a person lose 5 to 10 million gil.
We'd see one post each year from somebody insanely angry in the forum.
On the other hand we'd save a few minutes when upgrading from one fully maxed out set of gear to another, two or three times in a patch cycle... hrm...
    tempting.

Once again, they’re are talking about EXTRACTION which is for fully spirit bonded gear. NOT retrieval which is to remove the materia you melded into it.

When an item is 100% spirit bonded you can extract a materia from it and reset the spirit bond to 1% to do it all over again. This suggestion is so that, like the repair all button, you can extract materia from any and all gear that is 100% spiritbonded. Extracting materia from your fully spiritbonded gear also no longer destroys the piece in question like it used to.

The only issue I can see with this button would be potential errors when you don’t have enough room in your inventory for the new materia but otherwise a welcome suggestion to me.

Yup, that would be just like me to get those two scrambled.

    Thanks!
