    EU data centers (both Chaos and Light) lag issue

    Since the last update (from 2/11/2021 I believe) some people have been experiencing huge lag when connected to EU data centers. The reason for it is that some IPs, which your signal to the game servers is connected through, are disfunctional and causing high latency and even packet losses. I'm talking about 195.82.50.230, 195.82.50.234, 195.82.50.225 and many other ones from 195.82.50 provider. Even if you're not suffering from this issue, you can always ping it and see for yourself that the problem with those IPs is persisting across every connection. You just were lucky to be connected through a stable node.

    Are SE going to do something about it? I know this forum's support can't do anything about the servers themselves, but can you please contant your superiors and address this issue to them?

    Totally agree.
    My wife & myself are facing severe connections lag & disconnect in the last days...
    Thanks to tracer, we identified that the root is the last IP jump (195.82.50.230) before reaching Shiva's IP (195.82.50.54).
    We do have regular pings over 1k+ and paquet loss there!
    Please try to fix it... the game is not enjoable in such state...

    I am having the same issue. I am on Excalibur and will get constant packet loss when playing the game. Other games and my internet in general is secure, it is just when playing FFXIV. Pretty frustrating when I am trying to do a dungeon.

    Same problem with ip 195.82.50.230. The problem occurs within an hour from about 5 pm - 6 pm GMT time zone
    At the same time, my friends see how I move in the game (Even if the character died)
    Please help with the problem if you can

    Hello I have started to experience severe lag issues this week and today it is to the point of being unplayable. I get 3 sec lags every 10 to 15 seconds. I used resource monitor in windows to see if there is any packet loss and it showed 0% packet loss on IP 195.82.50.61 (Twintania on EU Light) and latency is usually around 20-30ms so from this everything looked fine but when I tried to ping to IP 195.82.50.61 from cmd, it always timed out after those 10-15 seconds which corresponds with the lags in-game.... it usually shows "Reply from 195.82.50.61: bytes=32 time=15-17ms TTL=50" but then after few seconds it just pause for 3sec and I get request timed out...

    I did try to use both cable and Wifi on different devices with same results so it probably wont be my computer but either something on server side (but my FC doesn't have the issue) or maybe my ISP ? But then again, it is the first time something like this happend in FF14 to me... I have around 950 hours in game and it always run flawlessly until this week...

    Any help would be appreciated.
