[dev] Ragnarok, yay or nay?

I'm hoping this thread will be viewed by devs so they can decide if more action needs to be taken or not. So how do we all feel about Ragnarok after being here for about a month?

Personally I feel it's too small, most likely the lowest pop server of them all
As a EU player it's great to have so many other EU players to group up with but even during our primetime the population is very low compared to what I'm seeing on other servers atm.
SE earlier stated that they would be looking into a 2nd merge if they felt it was needed for Ragnarok, my vote is for them to do exactly that.

What's your opinion?

i dont think we need a 2nd merge, but i would very like it if SE startet their PR measure to get more new players.
all in all i am happy with the current situation and the low RMT population

No merge plz but a little more PR and getting new players is a good idea , wich will happen when 2.0 gets out no doubt

I agree SE needs to started an overwhelming PR campaign...don't wait until E3...start now...then E3 helps bring it all together, give ppl more reason to want to play the game...

I don't know if it's just me but I seem to run into a lot of new players lately which is encouraging. I guess with some worlds closed for new registration Ragnarok is getting a larger share of new people. Since I enjoy having players at many different levels I am reasonably happy wih the server as it is.

I moved to this server to hopefully find more English speaking people playing in the same timezone as me, however it just seems to be a leftover server for people that can't fit into another server...

Ragnarok has been stated to be the official EU-Timezone-Server and was the only one that didn't get merged with another one of the former Servers but started as a fresh, new one.

IMO there really is no need for another merge.

Btw: I see a lot of (english speaking) players around in all areas at almost all times (at least around GMT), even in the "lesser populated areas" (came from Lindblum, one of the more populated ex-Servers) so my guess would be to try finding an english speaking Linkshell, forums can be helpful, take a look here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/366-Ragnarok

Are there really that few English speaking linkshells? I find people from America quite frequently.
