Personal Housing - Minion Allowance toggle

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Figured i would throw out a suggestion that i would like to see added to the game.

I have been noticing that when helping out with a venue, we seem to have a lot of issues with people forgetting minions when they come into the establishment. It would be nice if the home owner of their personal house had an option to toggle minion allowance for their house to either allow or prevent minions from being in their personal house whenever they want. The reason why i suggest this is because minions take up a player spot in the personal house instance preventing other real players from getting into the house whenever we hit player housing capacity.

Also yes, we do ask them to dismiss their minions and people have been very accepting of this, but it does become tedious to do this over the course of the night. So having an option to just deny anyone from being able to even summon them while in the personal house would be a far more convenient option.

I think this would be a wonderful addition to our list of housing options when it comes to RP venues.

Additionally, I think we should have the option to allow some of our minions to wander around the inside of our house -- like pets IRL. Perhaps something along the lines of: Up to three minions can wander around the inside of your estate at all times (whether you're inside the estate or not). These particular minions cannot be summoned while "wandering".

I'm pretty sure this was actually discussed by the devs a long time ago, one of the many 'we're considering this' things that never materialized. And yes, I would love it too.

It's part of what they're planning for the Island Sanctuary, Yoshida said part of the request that brought it about was to have minions and mounts roam around.

I don't have a house but if I did I'd want it to be a Zoo.
Just have all of my minions running around at the same time.

It would be pretty fun to have that too, but at least having the option to toggle it on and off would be awesome

Absolutely. WoW's garrison from Warlords of Draenor had this, and it was great. Really cool to see your battle pets just hanging out in the Garrison, going about their business (whatever that may have been, LOL!) The garrison also had a mount stable in it, which was great too, and IIRC it would display mounts out of your collection in the stable stalls or hitched up around the outside of the stable.

Something like that would be cool outdoors. Definitely a 'yes' on the indoor minion thing.

Yeah that would be a really nice feature! I didn't know minions took up a player slot inside a house, that's crazy! I hope they add something like this, because it would really help rp venues! But I think it's unlikely... The devs might think this is taking agency off players that want their minions to show. But the house owner should be able to set the rules!

That might just be the island sanctuary that is supposed to be coming with Endwalker.
