It it the moon after all (in the logo)?

Figured this would be best asked here in the lore head zone. It was something I just sort of assumed as obvious but saw a comment regarding the recent launch trailer and I can't quite shake it. Some of the ways the logo has been framed and transitiioned into now have me wondering.

Is the planet/celestial body we see (which everyone says looks like it has a giant hole in it) in the EndWalker logo actually the moon? Or is it actually the planet we've been on the whole time?

Is the "space ship" object traveling "to the moon?" Or is it some sort of object/ship/etc. actually traveling TO our planet?

Hopefully the more knowledgeable lore folks here can ease my mind.

It's the Moon (originally the 'Primary' Moon when Dalamud the 'lesser' moon was still around), the full CG trailer released earlier in the year actually shows 'Derplander' on it at the end when he kills that boss from Amaurot in ShB ('the First Doom') then does a cool pose with the planet Hydaelyn behind him, the view then swings around to show the moon in full before it turns into the logo, so yeah, it's pretty clear it's the Moon.

And yes, the wedge-shaped spaceship is clearly showing how we probably get there (probably an ancient Allagan vessel, as it is already in the lore that the Allag had space travel - the Allagan Ragnarok-class internment hulks shown in the Binding Coil of Bahamut are actually spaceships).

Also a sneak peak of the new main title screen for EW shows the planet Hydaelyn on the bottom left corner of the screen with the moon in the logo to the top right, all but shouting the logo is the Moon. So it's pretty clear cut.

I similarly believe it's not the moon, but the planet. The moon itself was torn from the world during it's creation, so it kind of follows that there would be a gigantic hole somewhere. And as it happens there is a massive hole in the sea around the very place that the image of the planet is focusing on.

While I believe the image could be our planet, I thought it was explained in the Ivalice storyline that the hole at the Ridorana Lighthouse was created by an explosion caused by the Gougans. The moon is 1/6th the size of the Earth and a hole that big doesn't show up on the map where the lighthouse is.

I still think it's a giant eye that looks at the spacecraft. Like Zodiark's.
