In the Live Letter you asked for our feedback in regards to the housing lottery system, and said that you are still considering whether or not you're keeping the system of first come first served in some wards.

Standing at the placard is boring and stressful, and not everyone is willing to do it. People who don't want to camp will only participate in the lottery system because it is easier than camping. However, having more people interested in buying lottery houses compared to normal houses means that lottery houses will be harder to get. You are not only competing against those who would be clicking the placard next to you, but also those who wouldn't bother clicking and still want a house.

I would like there to still be normal first come first served wards where we can increase our odds of getting a house by our persistent house scouting and camping efforts. There should be both kinds of wards in all five housing areas.

Of course those players who participate in illegitimate botting activities should not only receive the appropriate warning or ban, but also have their house demolished and put back on sale.
