I wish they cared so much about the WoW story, it’s almost comical to try imagine the WoW devs delaying a launch over that by now with all the inconsistencies, bad storytelling, changing the canon lore seemingly on a whim when it suits them better even when the playerbase is groaning in unison… I’d say it’s proof of the complete opposite in FF14
