Housing on Materia Data Centre

Greetings everyone!

First time poster, and I've always seen that we are asked to post on the forum should we wish to raise some concerns.

Just a few concerns/suggestions for the Materia Data Centre housing I was hoping that a few things would happen regarding the implementation and opening of housing to purchase:

Going from Yoshi's comment that Materia will begin as a completely new data centre and that no worlds would be transferred ie. Tonberry. (That's what I've assumed from the live letter)

1. Delay house purchasing for a period of time after the data centre opens. Allowing players to organise themselves onto the world of their choice with friends they are playing with. And also enough time for smaller FC's to level up their FC, and we are all assuming that we will have to create new FC's upon transferring.
2. When housing opens allow FC only purchasing of plots for a pre-determined amount of time before allowing private plots to be sold.
3. Allow a small amount of wards to be first come first serve upon first opening of housing, then change to lottery after plots/wards have had their first tenant.

Previous new world had housing locked for 3-6 months to give people time to transfer and get going on the new server and to not disadvantage people who transferred slightly later. This will be the same.

There's no reason to do this but they are also considering having FC and Personal Only wards.

3. Allow a small amount of wards to be first come first serve upon first opening of housing, then change to lottery after plots/wards have had their first tenant.

Their plan is to have some wards be lottery and some be first come purchase. They also have the ability to change a ward depending on how the housing demand develops.

I expect the general implementation to follow the same pattern they used when they added Spriggan and Twintania at the start of Shadowbringers.

The worlds opened on Jun 19th, 2019 and players who were willing to move to those worlds could have free transfers.
FC house purchases became available on Aug. 28th.
Personal house purchases became available on Oct. 26th.

Personally, I feel the waiting periods were too long. FC housing should have been available one month after the worlds opened (more than enough time for a FC to get established and raise enough gil to buy at least a small house) with personal housing coming 2 weeks later. It took well over a year for the wards on both worlds to fill so the long delays didn't really accomplish anything if the goal was to make certain new players and late transfers would be have a chance to obtain housing. They may not have been able to get medium or large houses but certainly they had plenty of smalls to choose from.
