Scenario Mode in EW will likely not have Ryne, unless you need to scramble in The First for a dungeon (doubt so. Let that place rest already until maybe 7.0). You have Einstein who replace her.


Avatar Mode just mean that you play with the Trust of your desire. There is no lore reason behind it outside helping your other jobs to level up when roulette refuses to cooperate, and a goal for grinders who want a change of Trust outfits.

Scenario keeping with lore where only those available in the story can go, and Avatar as non-canon can do whatever.
