We need more linkshell controls right now, or something to let current linkshells that they sucks. On my sever theres two linkshells and lot of people don't want to be in either one of them since they're kinda of elitist now, in a game where there's nothing worth being elitist about, and I'm not on a dead server I'm on selbina lol.

Hmm, well it's a day before the 1.17 patch now and still no info. They have been "readying" the Lodestone page for almost a month now. I hope they'll stick to their word and give us an update today or tomorrow, but I doubt it.

Well, there's a lodestone maintenance scheduled for a little before the game maintenance tomorrow. If the info is larger than an article on the front page they'd probably have to do a maint. to prepare the site for the additional information.

Or then they're just doing something else entirely. We shall see tomorrow.

Damn you're right.. That is a possibility! I hadn't even considered that.. Omgomgomg exciting..

HOWEVER.

I'm skeptical.

But here's to hoping. Because 1.17 sounds pretty bloody good in contrast to past updates and it has given me a bit of hope that it's only 70% of the update. The other 30%? Well who knows.

Yoshida is usually very careful with his words using terms like "hoping to", "aiming for" etc, but this time he didn't. Chances are things got lost in translation, but this time he simply said we would get the info before the patch. So I'll be a little miffed if it doesn't happen.

I really hope you're right though, and they do add the page tomorrow. FFXIV has made me very cynical, so I always expect the worst lol.

It would be great if Companies come in 1.17a. That means the rest of the team is still in schedule (aside from the tsunami delay of course) and only the taskforce working on companies is lagging behind.

Oh wow! Nicely spotted! You're right. So in other words it looks like we'll be getting quests involving Companies tomorrow. Wondeful, wonderful! ^^

Wee, Yoshida just reconfirmed in his letter that we'll be getting both Grand Companies and the Lodestone page tomorrow. Tis a fine day, tis! =D
