Fan panels at Fanfest?

(This post is being made under the assumption that there might be another live event, and that the team isn't going completely digital going forward)

I was wondering about the possibility of getting some smaller conference rooms and using them for fan created panels/events or even Content Creator meet and greet setups. I understand the main focus would be on many of the large stage events, but the fans can offer others a chance for more intimate community interactions and chances to meet other players you may not ordinarily have the chance to meet.

Some examples of possible panels/events include/are not limited to:

Scenes of the star: A quiet room for people to get away for the crowds and relax with scenic imagery from the game and soft OST selections

Tanxiety, and how you can Mitigate it: tips and tricks from general tanking to specific fight tricks to help players who may not originally get into tanking themselves. As well as quick and easy things you can say that are more easily accepted.

Speed friending: a chance to meet alot of other players, REALLY QUICKLY!

The Beehive: a late night dance party featuring popular FFXIV Twitch DJ's


I know we're most likely going to be doing digital only, but in the event we'll someday have another Live event anyone that's read through all of this and happens to have a cool idea for a potential live fan panel, why not post it below? Who knows maybe Square will take your idea and use it on main stage?

They keep these things fairly tightly organized. Plus they would want to keep a tight leash on anything that isn't done by them. Anything music related would have to be cleared first with the organizers so unless it's coming direct from them, I'd say that would be a no go right off the bat.

Friending you can do on your own, there's no need for a panel for that. There's plenty of lines that you stand around in already, just say hi to the person next to you.

The last couple fanfests had an extra room already where the hotel had snacks/food available for purchase with a monitor showing stuff from the main room there's no need for another quiet room. As far as I remember it wasn't used much so if anyone needed a breather they could go there. Most people I would think would have just gone back to their hotel rooms (if they were staying on site that is).
