The relocation timer should stay in place as it is now, but put a cooldown on it. Say 90-120 days until you can relocate once again.

I think the real question about the new Ishgard wards is are they going to be "Ready for Purchase" upon release so therefore no timers? Is it all going to be lottery?

Also, what about all of the people that ranked for Firmament Restoration? Do we get any special perks for obtaining the Saint title for Ishgard housing? Priority maybe? Most of us worked harder and longer than it would take for clicking on a placard and beating the invisible timer.

They haven't made a decision regarding how many wards will remain First Come First Serve.

To be honest, with relocation no longer bypassing the purchase timer they might as well all be lottery. Any wards left First Come First Serve will leave players desperate for a house feeling like they must still continue to camp to improve their chances even if they have an entry pending in a lottery ward. The FCFS wards would represent multiple opportunities to acquire a plot during each lottery period while the lottery itself is only a single opportunity per lottery period.

No perks/advantages for those of us who were on the leaderboards during the Restoration, and that's how it should be. Someone's ability to purchase a plot shouldn't be contingent on being a crafter/gatherer.

If there are any FCFS wards in Ishgard when plots become available for purchase in 6.1, I would imagine it would be the same as the past. No timer for very first purchase then timer will kick in when a plot is relinquished/demolished.

Do we yet have an answer on if a FC as a whole can only make a single bid for a single plot, a single bid on as many plots as they have funds for, each in a FC getting one bid for a single plot, or each player in a FC getting a single bid on as many plots as they have funds for?

No more specifics on how the lottery will work have been released since the live letter. I don't expect to get the details until a couple of weeks before 6.1 is released. I doubt very much they want to give players months to figure out ways to game the system and prepare.

Salt mines will be ready to blow regardless. People are still going to be unhappy when they still don't have a house because the lottery isn't a fix to the core system problems.

Personally I don't have a problem with allowing multiple FC members to purchase entries on behalf of a FC. The FC still has to come up with all the gil for each of those entries (which will be rare for most FCs) and having 10 chances out of 200 entries still means 190 out of 200 chances to lose.

Okay, just wanted to check I wasn't missing anything. My FC is new (few months old) and has the funds for multiple Small Plot bids but if we only get one shot total that would suck. What SE really need to do is make more Wards so there's not such a housing shortage.

This. Without the freedom of instant relocations to trade up to more desirable or larger plots, I don't see a reason at all to have anything outside of the lottery. FCFS is just going to be left almost entirely to auto-clickers and the FC reselling market. Better to just give average players a chance at the full stock of available housing.

Because the free-for-all method will remain better odds for those with the time to essentially waste clicking. I'd rather throw away nine hours trying to win a click war than enter a lottery with 1,000 other players and have .01% of winning said lottery.

Whats the time limit now ? i was trying to transfert ownership of my fc to an alt that i invited but could not.
