Pre-order and the new release date

So originally I was not able to buy the expansion before 24th~25th of November and I was gonna miss the pre-order window and the early access to play with friends, but now that the release date and early access were moved to 3rd of December, does that mean that if I buy the expansion on 24th or 25th of November it counts as pre-order and I can get the early access? I'd assume it does, but can never be sure about things like this.

I play on PS5 and my countdown timer for Endwalker is still at 12 days and counting down as we speak. I'm guessing they are just slow to update it but I can't say for sure. The announcement was made late yesterday evening, so it might not get updated until Monday at this point.

I believe you can pre-order the expansion until the actual release day.

If you purchase before the 7th, you get access on either the 3rd or immediately.

In the past you could "pre-order" literally up to within minutes of the expansion going live and getting access to the pre-order bonuses. I'd be surprised if you couldn't pre-order right up to dec 3rd.
