Please limit FC to 1 entry per lottery.

As the title says, FC should only be allowed a singular entry into a house lottery. If every housing privilege officer can buy a ticket, then larger FCs will be able to abuse this to no end by making dozens of players into officers and gaining a huge advantage over those of us that keep our FC small and intimate. Quite a few of us small FC leaders spent a ridiculous amount of time camping placards at countless houses fighting for our right to grab a placeholder house so that we can relocate to Ishgard, and then saved up the money to afford it. Now with relocation being removed, we will be completely screwed if we do not have an even battle against the large FCs.

I think bigger FCs should have the right to attempt more times at houses if they have the gil for each member to submit for it.

I consider it even insane that a big FC with 100+ members should have about the same chance of getting the house as a private owner.

An FC can only have one house. They can only have this advantage once, and rightfully so. Even if they're trying for a large house, they're gonna need ~50 mil per member. I don't know how many FCs have whales able to afford more than a few members. Even if your FC has a billionaire player, you only get 20 tickets, and that also implies you trust those 20 people to lend them 50 mil each.

That being said, I am also leader of a smaller sized FC, and I also want a large house. But I don't think limiting it is a good idea.

Disagree. Large FCs shouldn't have priority over smaller, intimate FCs. Don't punish players for preferring a quieter, smaller experience. They have just as much right to that plot as a larger one.

The odds of them winning every single lotto is pretty low though. Seem lot of work for what? You would split up your FC. Assuming we talking about legitimate FC's and not bots or other shady type of shell FCs we already see.

The simplest programming path would be for one bid per fc. If it were more they'd either have to limit fc members to bidding on the same placard or create a whole procedure for sorting out which house an fc ends up with if members bid and win different plots.

Like, yes, it is a bit more bothersome, but at the same time, it would give them a much bigger advantage over smaller fcs who can't split up into smaller ones, considering the minimum FC size requirement. While in the current system, it doesn't matter if you only have 5 or 6 members, each member can get one token by just having the gil and permission for it. I would even say the current system gives smaller fcs a much bigger chance than the 1-per-fc would.

This is not a punishment, it's just the fact that a larger FC always have more manpower anyway, you like it or not.
There is no possible way for a smaller fc to have the same chances as a bigger FC.
Even by this idea's standards, it is still pretty exploitable.

So your argument is if large FCs don't get their way they'll exploit the system? Weird counter argument there. Doesn't change my opinion either. 1 ticket per FC, regardless of size.

Hey Jojoya, remember when you asked me why I felt freshly created FCs shouldn't be allowed to purchase a plot right away? This is why. People will always think they'r'e entitled to exploit loopholes.
