Disappointed in new release date.

Everyone who is complaining now is part of the reason why games have a unfinished release and need a big day one patch these days.

Because complains about a delayed release are louder then complains about a rough start.

Just don't plan your life and vacation around a game and all is good
You still have 2-3 weeks to play until Christmas, and that is enough for a "normal" working person to finish the MSQ.

Literally any date they give is subject to change. There is always a risk any game in the market will experience release delays. Would you rather they didn't finish it properly, and allow you to play incomplete? I bet you'd be the first to post a complaint thread.

You always have to expect the unexpected what will result in a delay and then it gets delayed anyway because of something stupid.
And you probably have never done a crunch work phase. Because if you had experienced something like that, you would praise Yoshi-P for this decision and that he avoided work like this for his worker.

Then there be negatives when you move it. You can do it in a negative free way. Don't hipe things for year+. Let's say you know the game is 100% ready then say a month from then you launch. People will get it much more nicely.

It’s almost impossible to predict anything a year out. Sorry, but your expectations are unrealistic.

Considering these days a lot of things are affecting every business. But in saying that, Yoshi fronted up and has openly apologised which is infinitely more than you’d get with most companies.

Yes it is disappointing, but it’s not the end of the world.

I mean, they could've delayed it for months instead. And yeah, it sucks. I was looking forward to gettin me one of 'em pretty bunny boiis. But I am not gonna waste my time and complain over this. There's worse stuff out there than waiting 2 weeks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm disappointed too. I understand their reasoning behind the delay and don't blame them.

Show me 1 game that come out bug/problem free after extra time.

Well, in my experience FFXIV did not have any major bugs during Stromblood and Shadowbringers releases. Most of the problems were caused by load on servers and some DDoS attacks.

Also, the devs did not say that the delay was because of a bug. They want to retouch some lore details as well as make sure that the servers can better handle the big number of players on release date. Since this is going to be their biggest expansion release yet.

Sound good enough for a 2-week delay.

Overreaction much? You are also slightly misinformed in regards to WoW's current state. The drought in WoW is a problem, yes, but even that's only a fraction of the issues going on with that game right now. It's not THE problem. It is one of many.

I was gonna make a long comment about let's not overreact so much on both sides but this is bit much... Claiming WoW's issue is a content issue is hilarious and naive at best.
