Couldn't have said it better myself.Or you are bitter over past experiences and taking it out on a dev team. You can say he doesn’t care. His previous actions since he has taken over this game prove different.
Your unwillingness to do research or accept that this community has more reason to trust this dev team than your word and your experience just presents you as bitter and entitled. Like this dev team or this multi billion dollar company did all of this to slight you personally.

No, since I am an adult, I would say "Cool. Talk to you later".
You're never been around for an expansions launch before. Historically they're been pretty rough (Stormblood was basically unplayable for some people at launch because of crashes and instance server overload), and especially when you consider the huge influx of new players recently, if Yoshi P says they need a little more time for QA ad stability checks, I say we give it to them. Better it releases late than unplayable.
I'm also one of those taking time off for this as well but I'm also quite forgiving, Yoshi and co have never missed a date before so if he really has to do it to make sure everything is right he deserves all the forgiveness for it. They really do work hard to make this game great.A lot of people take vacation for it. Yoshi-P even acknowledged this. In all the time since Yoshi-P has done this, patch release days have been consistent and predicted years ahead of times, there has not been a prior expansion release date change and it was already delayed by a month or more, so the odds were in your favor, it just didn't work out that way this time unfortunately.

It's just a bit insane from a corpo standpoint cause it means they have less players overall cause they pushed their release now into the christmas season. Ofc there are also the upset players which took time off work to play and now "wasted" their days if they can't reschedule them.
Doesn't affect me i don't work in retail and don't have to deal with the insanity that is the christmas business in western countries but yeah i can see that they really did a bad job with this new release date.
I was never able to get time off on freaking thanksgiving week, nor do I care? When SHB came out I didn’t request time off and played it a few days after launch as I travel for work a lot. So naturally idc and find it hilarious how some are being dramatic about a few weeks push.
I’d love for them to release it January as the winter months are dreadful for me to plan anything but that’s a personal thing

I think people voicing their frustrations are understandable but they all miss out on a key point. If you took time off and the servers were constantly crashing during your vacation time, would you be happy you got to play for what, a few hours? Would you prefer a situation like Diablo?
I think not.
May not be the popular opinion, but imo the prior release date of Endwalker was annoying to say the least, but largely because Raids landing on Christmas week was terrible timing.

I mean, if you really wanted to know the answer to "why" you could look at what he himself said instead of coming to the forums and pretending like he didn't explain it.So why start now? Especially since he's aware that people take time off for his game? What can be worked on in two weeks, that can't be worked on after launch and hotfixed into the game afterward? What's so broken about the game that it demands a reschedule?
And if something is that broken that the expansion couldn't possibly launch without these certain things being worked on, why are they just now getting around to it? How is it that they didn't know the expansion wasn't going to be ready until just now?

People are acting like Raubahn was sooo bad it was fix in a few hours

But the two things have nothing to do with each other, right? Ofc they wouldn't be happy if the game constantly crashes or we get a second Raubahn EX scenario.I think people voicing their frustrations are understandable but they all miss out on a key point. But that doesn't mean that SE is without fault here cause they made bad choices. If they initially said they release in January nobody would've complained at all and they had enough time to polish the release.
So yeah, they don't want the game to release as a unstable mess, the game should release no matter what in a acceptable way there is no reason to expect less than that no matter if the release would be in two or four weeks. That is no good argumentation at all.
